Defence solicitor Aidan Gallagher said his client had been 'drinking with so-called friends' at home but he has 'since disassociated himself from them'.

He and his co-accused appeared from custody at the sheriff court on Monday and made no plea through lawyer Aidan Gallagher during a petition hearing in private.
